St. Patrick's Day was rather difficult for us; Jezzabell took her last drive. She has officially gone beyond repair (or at least beyond what she is worth to repair). SO. Now it is time to shop for a new car. However, people are punks. Nearly every car that I've found has been priced $2000+ over the Kelly Blue Book asking price. So it shall be quite the task that hopefully we will accomplish sooner rather than later.
So this has sparked many things in my head...
We've been looking at our budget and trying to figure out where we stand now, and where we will be once our baby comes. Since we have a one bedroom apartment right now, we will need to find a new place once our contract runs up. So we are budgeting for what we can afford. Well, the beautiful thing about North Carolina is they have AWESOME real estate for great prices!! So we're comparing renting options to home owning and it is coming out (all things considered) to be pretty much the same. Crazy right?!
So then sparked loan conversations, avoiding debt, earning credit, tk going to design school, ect. ect. ect.
And before you know it our budget was flexing and forming all around every option we explored and falling into place so nicely!!! Given, we still have yet to find everything that we want and get it all done. But just knowing all of our reasonable options is awesome!!!! Its all so exciting though!! Who knows what we'll do but we've just been talking so grown up! ha. its such a new experience... :)
Peace, Love, and Cookiedough.

it may be a tight squeeze to have a baby in a one bedroom apartment but I would think its do-able for the first 6 months of his life. Just put the crib in ur bedroom :0) you could save some money for a few months that way. Unless you really want ur baby to have his own room.
